Star Wars Clone Wars Ambush
Yoda, Rhys, Jek and Lieutenant Thire lands on Rugosa in an escape pod and these flying things work with Asajj Ventress. Yoda has to get to Ventress and make the flying things turn to the Republic if he doesn’t reach Ventress the flying things will stay with the Separatists.
Palio di siena horse race in the piazza de Campo, Siena, Italy
This is a famous horse race in Italy. It is very dangerous, the riders ride bare back and go around with no saddle and turn steep corners and many fall off, get trampled by other horses and can break a leg. Mum and Dad went to Siena where this race is run. Here is a video of the race. Some people get trampled on in the video so watch very carefully. Also this yellow one came first in the whole race and never came any other number.
Daddy
My dad is away right now but he is still in my heart and i’m still in he’s heart my daddy is generous and kind I hate when he’s away but he’s still in my heart.
Colobus Monkey
The name colobus is derived from the Greek word for “mutilated” because unlike other monkeys colobus monkeys do not have thumbs. They can jump from tree to tree holding branches and their hair looks like a parachute. Wet environments
Wet environments are places where it is very wet. Certain types of plants grow in these places because they are wet. Some animals like to live there, and don’t like the dry parts.
The wettest environment is under water, and only some animals can live there! (Like Lara’s drawing below)
When I wrote this post I was in a wet environment because it was pouring with rain. We took some photos as artifacts.
At School
At School at the moment I’m having lots of fun. My Teacher is Mrs Walker and she is very nice, and I like her.
This morning I had a blood test and laughed and Mum was scared. Later, when I got back from the test I saw the painter and he was painting the walls and getting the ruff stuff off. Then I got back to school and my friend Gerard said “you just missed the best science show ever” and lucky enough Jet missed out to, because he was at maths. So after morning tea Mrs Walker said “do you know that you’re going with Jet to the show”. At the show this is what happened he touched fire, made donuts of air, turned water into jelly and turned sea water into normal water and other things. It was really lucky that Jet and I saw it and thats what happened today at school.
